Dr. Charles Poblenz, DMD
Lead Dentist
Dr. Charles Poblenz grew up in Jensen Beach, Florida, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Chemistry minor from the University of North Florida. During his time at UNF, he volunteered as a dental assistant at the I.M. Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless, an experience that shaped his approach to patient care and community involvement.
He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in Lexington, Kentucky. After graduating in 2015, Dr. Poblenz returned to Jacksonville to begin his career and pursue his goal of practicing relationship-driven dentistry.
Through the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program, Dr. Poblenz provides free dental care to Jacksonville residents who cannot afford necessary treatment and have no access to public aid. He and our entire team complete advanced continuing education every year that far exceeds Florida's state requirements.
Outside the office, Dr. Poblenz and his wife, Dr. Amy Poblenz, a local orthodontist, enjoy time with their daughter Penny and their dog Beckham and cat Mr. Pickles. He stays active running, surfing, and exploring new places to eat around Jacksonville.
